Your trip. Your data. Period.
Triply is built so only the people you invite can see your plans. Here's what that means in practice — no legal jargon.
Who can see your stuff
Everything inside a trip room — chat, expenses, polls, bookings, checklists, vault items — is visible only to people you've invited to that room. Nothing is public by default.
Chat privacy
Messages live in your room and are protected by row-level access rules in the database. We don't read them. They aren't used to train any AI model. You can delete your own messages anytime.
@Triply AI requests
When you tag @Triply, just that thread's recent context is sent to the AI provider to answer. Responses come back into the room. We don't store extra copies, we don't sell prompts, and the provider doesn't train on your data.
Tickets, documents, screenshots
Files you upload (PDFs, images, vault docs) sit in private storage scoped to your room. Smart Paste sends the file to the AI only long enough to extract booking details, then discards it. Original files stay in your room until you delete them.
Data in transit & at rest
All traffic is HTTPS. Storage and database are encrypted at rest by our cloud provider. Access tokens are short-lived and refreshed by your browser — we never see your password.
Your credentials
Please use a strong, unique password and keep your sign-in safe. We support Google sign-in if you'd rather not manage another password. We will never email you asking for your password.
Delete on demand
Leave a room and you stop seeing it. Want your account fully wiped? Email us via the feedback form and we'll remove your profile and content from rooms you own.
What we collect
Your email, display name, optional avatar, and the trip content you create. Basic technical logs for keeping the service up. No ad trackers, no data resale, ever.
A note on shared responsibility. We protect the platform; you protect your sign-in. Don't share account passwords, watch out for phishing emails, and review who's in a room before posting sensitive info like passport numbers or payment details.
